Christmas was pretty good. It was strange though, because normally, we do stockings first thing. Except we didn't. We got up at 9. But we didn't do stockings till 11. And we blame Susi on that. Because she didn't get here till about 1. But stockings were pretty cool. I got a collection of musicals, with "Show Boat", "Annie Get Your Gun", "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" and "Kiss Me Kate". Essentially a Howard Keel collection. I got it mostly for "Kiss Me Kate". Because I've been wanting to watch it for a very long time. And I finally did tonight. And I really like it. I've never seen "Show Boat". So maybe in the next few days. And I got a Rubiks Slide. Which is pretty fun. And a book of word searches and a book of logic puzzles. And my usual chocolate orange. And some earrings and a bar of drinking chocolate. And some chapstick and other little doodads. But it was a good stocking. And then we had brunch while waiting for Susi to get here. We had egg cassarole and cinnamon bubbles. Then Susi finally got here and we opened presents. I got "Beauty and the Beast" on Blu-Ray and DVD, doesn't help that I don't have a Blu-Ray player though. Oh well. And my sister got me a hippo from the Disney store. One of the hippos from "Fantasia". And the most awesome present of all was a sewing machine. It's a Brother XR 7700. I love it. I don't know how to work it yet. But I'll figure it out.
Then yesterday, I worked 10-2. And the Susi came over and we had food. And watched "Bringing Up Baby". Which was pretty good. And then she left soon after that,. And we watched the end of "Sound of Music" on ABC. Which, I like, but it isn't my favorite. I think "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" is my favorite. And Joesph. I love many musicals though.
Then today, was pretty lazy. Got up about 10:30. Then around 3, we went to Nickle Charlies for lunch. Then we stopped by the grocery store. And then went back to the house for a bit. Then dad and I went to the bank and I deposited my check from my Grandpa. And then dad and I went over to Wal-Mart, and I got razors and "Fantasia/Fantasia 2000" because it's going away soon, and I wanted to be sure to get it before it left. Same with Beauty and the Beast, which is why I'm glad I got it for Christmas. And then we came back to the house. My mom and sister were working on a puzzle. And we put in "Airplane!" my mom got it in her stocking, then I watched "Kiss Me Kate". Which I liked. It's fun. I sung along to "Brush Up Your Shakespeare". Cause that's really the only song I know from that movie. But I like it. I'll watch it many more times. Speaking of, I should go add those movies to DVD Afficianado.
And I should probably go to bed. I have work tomorrow.
