BoA does not = Bands of America

It equals Bank of America.  At least at work it does.

Speaking of which.  It was my first day today.  Which wasn't too bad.  Had to be there at 7:45 for whatever reason.  So got there right on time and waited in the break room/lunch room.  Wasn't sure what to take for lunch, because I wasn't sure what sort of facilities they had as far as fridges and microwaves went.  But they've got several of each.  So then our Trainer came and got us and took us to our classroom.  And then we all introduced ourselves.  Went over the classroom guidelines.  Had our first break.  Came back and went through the rest of the guidelines.  Then we went to do our I9 form, which took all of like, 2 minutes.  Then we logged onto the computers and started our first lesson.  And it was boring and involved a lot of button clicking and listening to a lot of monotone voices.  And then we went to lunch, and came back.  And then some guy from HR came in afterwords and we had to sign a bunch of stuff.  And then we went back to our lessons.  And then we had something called Rah Rah, which is 3 times a week, and a way to recognize people for good work and compliments from customers.  And that was...fun...but weird.  And we had our last break right after that.  And then came back and finished our lessons and watched a video on Bank of America.  And then we went home.  And I'm totally excited, because the entire month is dress down, because some department did really well on something or rather.  So, I'm really excited that we get to wear jeans and a t-shirt for the rest of the month.  Or jeans at least.  You know...I think I'm gonna wear a new shirt that I got yesterday, jeans, and my brown converse.  I think that'll look really good together.

Dad and I went to Wal-Mart, so that I could get a regular alarm clock.  I thought that mine hadn't gone off this morning for some odd reason.  But it turns out that I had it set for PM instead of AM, and I felt stupid.  But I also got a lunch bag, because I figured if I'm taking my lunch a lot, that it would come in handy, rather than just taking a plastic bag and then throwing it away after I'm done with it.  I guess it's my way of going 'green'.  Also, I guess I'll go 'green' for March, cause it's St Patty's day this month and everything.  So then we went by Smith's to look for salad dressing for my mom.  Because she's going on this extreme diet thing for the next 40 days.  It's intense.  I dunno how she's gonna be able to do it.  I don't think I'd be able to.  And we could find anything there.  So then we went to Super 1 and got the salad dressing.  Then my mom called, and wanted some ice cream and pie and stuff for tonight.  Because for the first two days, she's supposed to have all the junk that she can, till she pops more or less.  So then my dad and I went to Albertson's and got that stuff.  And then we went to storage and got my crayons and a couple of travel coffee mugs, because I found out that I can have coffee with me, in a closed container, in class/work/whatever it's called.  And then we finally went back to the house.  Mom fixed biscuits and gravy for dinner.  I watched the new episode of BBT (Raj and his singing shirt, plus, it was playing the Imperial March!  I DIED!) and just kinda relaxed.  It's been a long day.

I started working on my grandmas sea turtle yesterday.  But I think I need to try and make the shell a little bit bigger, and the legs aren't exactly right.  But I'm ok with that.  She's gonna love it either way. :)  And I can't wait to start on my Storm Trooper hat.  I'm such a nerd!  OH!  And our lounge area at work, has a Star Wars foosball table.  I got so nerdy and happy!  I don't play foosball.  But I was happy.

Anyways, I'm exhuasted.  I got 5 hours of sleep last night and I need more sleep.  So, I should get some sleep.
