Watched the opening ceremonies of the games. I actually watched all of them! I TOTALLY missed the lighting of the torch though. i was distracted by twitter or something and just totally missed it. I feel so stupid...but otherwise they were really good. They showed footage of the Georgian who died in the luge accident. I mean really? I can't believed they showed footage of the actual accident. That's total disrespect to the guy it happened to. And I feel horrible because I can't spell his name...Scandinavian is NOT my first language, so yeah. Oh wait...I found his name...Nodar Kumaritashvili. My heart and my thoughts go out to his family and the country of Georgia. Otherwise, the cerimonies were AWESOME! I rank them up there with China's a couple of years ago! The guy who sung "Hallejuah"...oh that was just really pretty!
I woke up about 10:15. Had some coffee and just was generally lazy. It was great! Hung out in the living room for a bit. Cleaned out the tub and took a shower. We had tacos for dinner. So those were yummy. And then I've just been hanging out on Twitter all night...being a complete and utter nerd! Don't judge me for RPing...it's just...it's fun! And now I've had the Pinky and the Brain theme song stuck in my head all evening...Long story. Anyways, it's just been a crazy night of fun.
We're supposed to go see "Valentines Day" tomorrow, I think. Maybe Sunday. I'm so excited! I've been dying to see it since I heard about it on the Rachel Ray show in December! Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner, Queen Latifah, Taylor Swift, Patrick Dempsy...and like 200 million other people. But I'm really excited about it. It looks a lot like "Love Actually", which is one of my all time favorite movies, and I really need to get a copy of it someday.
So yeah, no plans for this weekend as of yet. Other than the movie at some point. I'm hoping for some of those conversation heart things. Those are my favorite Valentines Day candy EVER! More than chocolates! Honestly, thats all I really want. Lame right? Meh, Valentines Day doesn't have a lot of meaning to me anyways. I don't really care, just another day. I really only dislike it because it's so commercialized. More so than Christmas or Halloween I think.
Anyways, I need to go to bed. I'm exhausted.
