'Small and white, clean and bright, you look happy to meet me...'

First things first

Collapse ) Ok.  So aside from that.  Let's talk about work.

So, the entire commute from the house to the top of Big Mountain, is an hour.  I have to drive about 30 minutes out to Whitefish, and then it's a 30 minute bus ride up to the top.  But it's not so bad.  The bus ride gives me a chance to read.  Maegan lent me a bunch of Baby Sitter Club books last week.  So, I've been re-reading them.  Haha.  I'm such a dork.  But anyways, I'm actually enjoying it.  I was told to catch the 8 am bus yesterday, and got on, and looked around and had no idea who I was working with.  And I was like, I didn't want to randomly ask people on the bus, who was going up there to ski and who was going to clean rooms.  I mean, how awkward would that conversation be?  So I got off the bus, and just kinda figured out who was going to clean rooms.  So, I followed that group.  There was 7 of us, and we divided up into a group of 3 and 4.  3 of the girls stocked towels and little amenities.  The other 4 of us made beds.  We split into groups of two, and the bed making went much faster that way.   We started in Kintla building, then we moved over to Morning Eagle.  I should mention, that at the Resort, there's several different buildings.  There's like 3 hotel like buildings, and several other condo buildings.  There's Kintla, Morning Eagle, and Edelweiss.   Kintla has 3 floors, Morning Eagle has 4, and Edelweiss has 3 floors, but it has inside and outside units.  And the rooms aren't like normal hotel rooms.  They're really nice, more like suites.   But they're REALLY nice rooms, and they're all laid out slightly differently.  Like no room is exactly the same as the other.  I like that.  I mean, some of them are laid out the same, but they all look different, aesthetically that is.  It's pretty cool.  But yeah, we finished the beds in Kintla, moved over to Morning Eagle, only had a few in there.  And then we got our lunch after that.  And then we went over to Edelweiss.  When we got over to Edelweiss, the 3 other girls were sent over to the housekeeping crew.  So, we went to the rooms in Edelweiss, and myself and another girl were stocking the rooms, while the other two were making the beds.  We actually got done early.  So, since we got up there early, my crazy supervisor, she's crazy, like she's just crazy, but she makes work fun.  Let us go a bit early.  So we just chilled outside for a bit before catching the bus back down the mountain.

Then today, took the 8:30 bus, we were a few minutes late.  Damn bus.  And we were in Edelweiss all day.  Stocking and making beds.  Then we cleaned a little bit after lunch.  Did 6 rooms today.  We all split up and took a task.  I did the dusting.  That was easy enough.  It was kinda fun.  I actually like what I'm doing.  It's actually, a whole heck of a lot better than Qdoba ever was.  But yeah.  It's good.  I don't mind it all.

I have my interview tomorrow.  We were gonna do it at 5, but then I realized it took me an hour to get down the mountain and back to the house.  So, I called and got it pushed back to 6.  I'm pretty stoked about it.  And that's weird for me.  I'm never excited about interviews.  I'm just feeling good about it.  And I haven't even interviewed yet.  So, I guess we'll see how it goes.  Cross your fingers for me!

I'm totally chillaxed tonight.  It's awesome.  I love nights like this.

I'm gonna go get a glass of water and continue to chill.
