Yellow Brick Road

YAY Weekend!

Oh man.  I've never enjoyed it being a weekend quite as much as I am now.

Today was totally relaxing, and it was great.  I finished my grandmas sea turtle and here's some pics:

And that's Mr. Sea Turtle!  :D  He does have a face, but you can't see it very well. It's not done very well.  He has two brown eyes and a red mouth.  I might've sewen his head on wrong, I'm not really sure.  XD  He's all crocheted, and then I hand stitched him closed.  He's stuffed with a little bit of batting.  I'm SO proud of him!  :)  First thing I've ever sewn that's in a round of sorts.  He has a head, a top shell, a bottom shell, four feet, and a tail.  Took probably, 2 days or so altogether to make him.  I'm working on a hat right now.  Just expererimenting with different ways to do a round.  It's fun!  :)

Let's see.  I also did laundry.  Which I've been needing to do for the past couple of weeks or so.

Um...and I just kinda hung out and didn't do much of anything today.  It was really nice.

Not sure what we're doing tomorrow.  Hopefully not much of anything.  I liked staying home and being lazy today.  Hopefully, if we go anywhere tomorrow, we won't be gone for too long.  The Oscars are on tomorrow, and I'd actually like to watch 'em this year.

But yeah.  Going to bed early tonight, so that I can be on a semi-normal schedule by the time Monday comes around.

So I'm gonna try and get some sleep.

Writer's Block: Best book ever!

Is there any book you can read over and over again without ever getting sick of it? Do you discover something new every time you read it?

Harry Potter.  Those are the one books that I can read over and over and over and over.  And  the Jessica Darling books.  And the Series of Unfortunate Events books. And the Secret Life of Bees.  And Hope was Here.  I love reading them over and over and I never get tired of it.
