Yellow Brick Road

Writer's Block: My word

If you could have the writing ability of one author, who would you choose, and why? Would you exchange writing styles permanently?

Glancing through the answers, I'm happy no one answered Stephanie Meyer, I would've lightsabered someone's head off if they had responded that way.

That's really hard to pick.  I really love JK Rowling's style.  And I'm a fan of Megan McCafferty's style.  I dunno.  It's really hard to choose.  But I'm leaning towards JK Rowling.  I love how imaginative that she is.  The world of Harry Potter is just amazing.  I wish I were that creative.

Because I can't really write that well, YES!  Yes I would.
Yellow Brick Road

Oh my Maker!  What a day it's been!

So, last night I intended to go to bed about 1, but then I got an awful pain in my side that was there for a couple of hours.  So I didn't end up falling asleep til 3.  And then I just didn't get enough sleep.  So I was tired pretty much all day.  I hate days like that.

But besides that, today's been really good, really busy, but really good.

Chip woke me up sometime around 9:30 or 10 to go outside.  I tried to go back to sleep, but that didn't work.  So I just woke up and had a cup of coffee.  Then about 12:30 or so we left the house to run some errands.

Went to the bank first so that I could deposit my tax refund.  So did that.  Then we went to Jo Anne's, and I got 4 skeins of yarn.  I got white and black to make a Storm Trooper beanie: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=336695.0  And then there was some Vanna White yarn on sale 2 for 5, so I got some tan and green to make a sea turtle amigurumi :http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=339497.0 with a link to a pattern here: http://spritelygoods.com/index.php?main_page=document_general_info&cPath=4_15&products_id=10 but a pattern can also be found on Ravelry here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/jacques-the-sea-turtle  I'm gonna make it for my Grandma Shirley, since she loves turtles! :)  And THEN after Jo Anne's we went to McDonald's and I got a Star Wars toy in my Mighty Kids Meal!  I got the Anakin one!  :D  And I also got the Sweet Chili Sauce!  LOVE!  And then we went to Borders, and I was gonna get a Star Wars book, but they didn't have it.  But I had been eying this book for a little while and one of those that I just kinda needed to get, so I got it: http://www.amazon.com/Nightlight-Parody-Harvard-Lampoon/dp/0307476103/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I2TAGLIT2KULFZ&colid=2E46X9N1IBHW7  I've read the first couple of pages and it's HILARIOUS!  And then we went to Target and I ALMOST got Season 1 and 2 of the Brady Bunch for 20 dollars, but I decided against it.  I didn't really NEED it, I just really wanted it.  Was looking for season 2 of Veronica Mars, but they didn't have it.  So then we went to Cost Co and I found this awesome Wii Winter Sports Game!  It's like the winter Olympics for Wii!  I was SO excited when I found it!  I still REALLY want the Sonic and Mario one though!  And I got a new shirt for work.  And then we went to Mountain Valley Foods and got a few things there.  Then we went to Super 1, and I got my very first Snapple.  It was Diet Peach Tea.  OMM!  IT WAS SO GOOD!  It's my new favorite drink!  And it was on sale for 98 cents.  WIN!  And then we went back to the house and my mom fixed Monterey's and they were realllllllllllly good.  And we watched the Olympics.  And I'm super excited for our bobsledding boys! :D

And now, I'm quite exhausted.  It was a very long day, so I'm gonna turn in for the night.
