I Fail At Updating

So yeah, I keep checking my friends page, but I keep forgetting to update.  I guess it's because I really haven't had much to say the past few days.

Let's think here.  This weekend wasn't too interesting.

Friday was Susi's birthday.  So she came over for tacos and we watched "See You in September" on the streaming Netflix.  It was ok.  Not terrible, but not amazing.  And on Saturday, we went up to Eureka.  We were gonna leave earlier than we did.  But did that happen?  No.  It never does.  Hung out over at Susi's for a little bit.  And then my mom and dad went over to the office and did some stuff.  Then came and picked Susi and I up.  And we went and got lunch.  And then drove up to Eureka to see David.  And we met up with him at his house.  And then we went to go find this walk along this creek.  But we couldn't find the trail.  And we had hiked up a little path, but realized that was a bad idea.  So we turned around and headed back to the truck.  So then we wanted to find this waterfall, but we couldn't find it either!  But we did go on a bit of an adventure.  We drove on an old logging road.  And just drove as far as we could, and found an old, rotted out bridge.  It was cool.  A good poem could come of it, but I'll have to ponder that for a bit.  Anyways, we didn't find the falls.  So we once again, turned around and went back to Eureka.  And my dad helped David do a couple of things.  Um, there was something about installing some washer part.  And then we helped him put his TV up.  And then we went out to explore his little guest house.  And then we went to go get dinner at the Kookanusa Cafe in Rexford, just a little ways away from Eureka.  And my parents and I all had giant chicken fried steaks.  And David had pizza.  And Susi had a pork chop.  Then we went back to David's for a bit, and had birthday cake for Susi.  And then we left.  And on the way back to Kalispell, we saw a crap ton of deer, and several Elk.  We don't normally see a lot of elk.  But I think they're up in population somewhat this year, because I've seen a lot of them recently.

Anyways...Sunday...was yesterday.  Oh good lord.  Anyways.  Not much happened yesterday.  Stayed here all day.  Did nothing.  Not a thing.  Took Chip for a couple of walks, but that was it.

And today, dad took me out job hunting.  Well, kinda.  We went by Bed, Bath and Beyond.  I checked in with Wal-Mart.  And I'm going to fill out an application for Cost-Co.  I need something, no matter what it is.  I just need hours, and money.

So I'm working on an application for AmeriCorps.  I found this awesome program that I want to do out in the middle of nowhere.  But it sounds really awesome!  I just need to call someone back tomorrow, and finalize my application!  WOOT!

So yeah.  Not really a lot is new.  I've been doing some sort of exercise for like, 9 days in a row.  I'm so proud of myself.  I'm really trying to do better.  I want to be in shape.  Like, really bad.  And I want to loose the 30 some odd pounds that I've gained back.  And then a little bit extra.

Anddddddd I can't wait for May 24th!  Cause that's when "I Am Number Four" comes out on DVD/Blu-Ray!  I want it SO BAD!  It's so effing AMAZING!  And Alex Pettyfer is *Makes angelic-heavenly noise*.  Yeahhhhhhhhhh.

Anyways, I should get some sleep.

Oh no worries! AmeriCorps is basically a big volunteer organization. All around America. And they typically go in on assignments for about a year. The one I'm interested in is in the middle of nowhere, Montana. It's teaching kids healthy eating habits, and somedays maybe being out helping harvest in the field. It sounds really interesting. So I'm REALLY hoping I get it!
