I haven't updated in awhile.  I'm fixing that right now!

So I guess the past few days have been alright.  I've been working a lot.  Actually, I've had the past several days off, cause they haven't needed me at work.  Which is kind of nice, but at the same time, I really need to work.  I'm still a bit frustrated about not getting that promotion, but I figure I might still have a chance after the holidays.  My managers really like me.  They keep telling me I'm amazing and I always do a good job.  So who knows.  Maybe I'll get a shot.

I've been crafting like crazy lately.  I'm doing this thing called Nerd Wars on Ravelry.  Basically you create crafts around different fandoms.  It's pretty awesome and fun.  There's 3 months in one round, I think.  I'm not sure.  But you have the whole month to craft 6 items.  So far, I've done three.  I've got 3 more to do.  If anyone is on Ravelry, you can find the group here: http://www.ravelry.com/groups/nerd-wars

I'm powering my way through Supernatural.  It's so my new favorite show.  I'm almost done with the second season.  So far, I'm doing about a season a week.  It's so addicting.  It's like Veronica Mars, in a way, you finish one episode, you gotta watch the next.  And it's not really the supernatural stuff that pulls me in, I mean, it's cool and all.  But I think it's more the stories, and the characters, and the actors.  I mean, Jared Padalacki and Jensen Ackles, are amazing.  If anyone was wondering, Jared was Dean in Gilmore Girls for the first couple of seasons.  They actually make a reference to that in one of the episodes towards the end of season two, which I think might be one of my favorites of the season.  But yeah.  It's good.  I like it a lot.

Going to see a movie with Jess later tonight.  We're gonna go see Tower Heist.  Sounds pretty good!

Oh!  Did I mention I finished the Hunger Games?  The first book at least.  I just started part 2 of Catching Fire.  Man is it good.    I've read a lot of good books this year.  I may not have read 50 books this year, but at least I've done a lot more reading this year, than I have in the past couple.  So I'm happy about that.  One of my goals this year was to read more.  And I've done that.  And I'm really happy about that.  I figure at the rate I'm going, I can finish the rest of the Hunger Game books, the Power of Six, and the Help this year.  I'm a pretty quick reader, so I bet I can do it.

Hmm...I don't know whatelse to say.  I feel like I've got more to say, but I don't know what to say.

I'm gonna go back to watching Supernatural for awhile.

Laters.

I actually haven't read The Hunger Games yet. Everyone around me is raving about the series.

It looks like you would recommend it. Is it definitely worth the read? I just don't have much time so I have to be picky about my books :)
